While Alguersuari left an indelible mark on Formula One, his story doesn't end at the finish line. Following his time in the pinnacle of motorsport, he embarked on new racing adventures, including the prestigious Formula E championship and the World Endurance Championship.

On today’s episode of the Mission Makers podcast, Jaime not only shares his experiences working with these championships but also delves into the mindset of a Formula One athlete, touching on how he managed its physical and mental demands. He also highlights the importance of scholarship schemes and sponsors as racing is a “very exclusive and unique sport” due to its costs meaning that 95% of parents cannot afford to sponsor their kids to proceed in Formula One. Because of this, Jaime notes talks about navigating selective programs and dealing with the pressures of not only representing a team but also a dream for many young children.
